Discovery Commons Whittier was the answer to our prayers. My mother needed assistance when she was diagnosed with a debilitating, terminal disease, and Discovery Commons Whittier offered the services that she needed. The staff immediately embraced both my mother and father and took great care of them. The staff was very attentive and caring towards my mother’s physical needs, especially as she grew weaker and more dependent on others for help. With my father, they focused more on his emotional and social needs as he needed more encouragement to get out and interact with the other residents. I like that Discovery Commons Whittier assessed their unique needs and addressed them. 

 

All of the staff members at Discovery Commons Whittier made a positive impact on my parents and my family. I was continuously impressed by the level of commitment to the care of their residents.
